Three roasts in and the seasoning has built up beautifully—the carbon steel surface is already giving me that dark, non-stick patina I was hoping for. It’s heavy enough to feel like a real workhorse, but the hand-forged texture makes it look gorgeous coming straight to the table.

The hand-forged carbon steel feels like a real piece of history, and it’s surprisingly light to maneuver even when full. Roasting a whole chicken came out with that deep, even browning you only get from heavy metal. It’s a joy to use and looks stunning on the stovetop after.

I’ve been roasting vegetables and a whole chicken in it weekly since it arrived, and the hand-forged carbon steel heats so evenly that everything comes out golden without any hot spots. It’s heavier than I expected, but that actually makes it feel solid and stable when I pull it out of the oven.
