The grain on this ladle is genuinely pretty, way nicer than the plain bamboo one I had before. It holds a full bowl of soup without dripping down the handle, which is exactly what I needed for serving chili.
The handle is so well-balanced that it doesn't dig into my hand when I'm serving a big pot of stew. The grain has a nice lustrous look to it that plain kitchen tools usually don't have.
I was worried it would feel clunky, but the balance on this thing is spot on and the handle sits comfortably in my hand even when full. The curve pours cleanly without dribbling down the side.
