These are heavier than I expected in the best way, so they don't tip over when a taper gets low. The matte cast finish looks great against our everyday oak table, and they dressed up nicely for a dinner party too.
The handcrafted iron has a slight texture that catches candlelight beautifully on our dinner table. I was worried they'd feel too heavy to move around, but they're balanced enough to reposition one-handed.
Picked up a pair for my mantel and the cast iron has a nice heft without feeling clunky. The finish is matte and slightly textured, so they don't glare under candlelight. Honestly they make my plain dining table look intentional.
