The borosilicate glass feels remarkably thin and light in the hand, yet it's clearly sturdy — I've already knocked one against the faucet with no chips. The tall, mouth-blown shape makes even plain tap water look like a restaurant pour.
Poured a cold sparkling water in one and the borosilicate feels noticeably lighter than my old tumblers, almost delicate in the hand. The mouth-blown shape has that slightly wavy rim you only get from real hand work, which I actually love.
These are noticeably lighter in the hand than my old tumblers, and the borosilicate really does make a difference when you're holding one for a whole evening. Mine arrived with the rims slightly uneven, which is part of the mouth-blown look, but they still feel sturdy. Tall enough for a proper sprit
