The ceramic has a nice weight to it that keeps my napkins from sliding around during dinner. Handmade details like the slight unevenness in the glaze make each one feel a little different, which I like.

These hold my cloth napkins so much neater than just folding them, and the weight feels substantial without being heavy on the table. I've used them for two dinner parties now and they've held up fine through a rinse.
