Fältplaceringsmatta

The handwoven stripes really do catch the light like a breeze moving through grass—our guests keep commenting on them. They feel sturdy yet soft, and I love knowing each one carries that artisan touch from Zinacantán.

I’ve used these on my dining table every day since they arrived, and the striped pattern really does evoke that wavy, breezy feel described. The handwoven construction holds up beautifully to weekly washing.

The handwoven texture feels far more substantial than typical placemats, and the tonal stripe pattern shifts beautifully depending on where you sit. I'm glad to support the ethical making behind these, and they've elevated our everyday dinners.
