Designed by Michel Charlot, this glassware is handmade and flame-worked in Milan. Michel Charlot is a Swiss industrial engineer on a constant quest for efficiency in conception, production and design.
The handmade glass has a lovely weight to it—not too heavy, but you can feel the craftsmanship in the flame-worked edges. The soft color layers catch the light beautifully on my shelf, and every piece feels like a tiny work of art. Definitely my favorite glassware now.
The flame-worked edges are so delicate, but they hold up beautifully in the dishwasher. I keep one on my desk just to watch the light shift through the colored layers.
