Linen Oven Mitt

The linen is sturdy enough that I don't feel the heat through it, but it's also flexible enough to grip casserole dishes securely. I've been using it for a week and it hasn't frayed or stained yet, which is more than I can say for my old cotton mitts.

Finally, an oven mitt that doesn't feel like a stiff cardboard tube—the linen is surprisingly flexible and grips well on hot casserole dishes. I've washed it a few times and it still looks great.

After several months of daily use, the stitching is still holding up perfectly and the linen hasn't shrunk at all. It's long enough to cover my forearm when I'm reaching into the back of the oven, which is exactly what I needed.
