We love the warmth wood flatware brings to the table.

Francis Gelb says he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth because he comes from a family of metalsmiths. That's why, when he founded Sabre in 1993, he set high standards for meticulous craft.

When designing this cutlery, Sabre added a modern touch: the styling is simple, the rivets are visible, while the wood and steel create a nice contrast.

  • 5-piece set: soup spoon, dinner fork, salad fork, knife and teaspoon
  • 18/10 stainless steel
  • Teak wood
  • Hand wash only, avoid abrasive sponges.
  • Care Notes: Not dishwasher safe. Remove small rings on the knife blades with a soft cloth or white vinegar. Teak wood is naturally highly resistant to rot, and regularly oiling with olive or linseed oil will extend the life of your handles. Don't leave this cutlery soaking in water.

After months of plastic forks bending in the picnic basket, these wooden ones finally make an outdoor meal feel like a real occasion, and the teak's smooth grain has held up beautifully against tomato sauce and citrus without staining. The set's five pieces are all you need for a proper plate, thoug

These forks have the perfect heft — not too heavy, but they feel solid in the hand. The teak has a lovely warm color that stands out against my ceramic plates.

The grain on these handles is so smooth and warm — they instantly make our patio dinners feel more special. I was worried about wood in the dishwasher, but after several washes they still look beautiful.
