この作品「ポリッシュド・マラカイト」は、East Forkのリセールコレクションの一品です。日常使いの食器と同じく、丁寧な手作業と耐久性を兼ね備えた陶器です。
The glaze has this deep variation in tone that photos really don't capture, and the weight feels substantial in hand without being heavy. I've got it on my desk holding rings and it's held up fine with zero chips so far.
The malachite green runs through the ceramic in these swirly bands, and honestly the photos don't do the color justice. It's heavier than I expected for a handmade piece, which I like — feels like real stoneware. Sits on my bookshelf next to some plants and looks great.
The glaze has this deep green depth that shifts depending on the light, which I wasn't expecting from a resale piece. It sits on my windowsill now and the weight of it feels solid, not fragile like some ceramics I've bought.
