ブルーリッジ山脈の美しさを、文字通り閉じ込めたハンドブロウンのデキャンタ。ノースカロライナ州スプルースパインのTerrane GlassのColin O' Reillyによる作品です。アッシュビル近郊のこの小さな町は、豊かな宝石や鉱物の産地として知られています。ガラスには地元産のシリカを使用し、巧みなシンプルさが風景の優雅さを映し出しています。

Picked this up for my bar cart and it instantly became the piece everyone asks about. The Blue Ridge mountain detail actually runs through the glass itself, not just painted on, so it catches light differently depending on where you're standing.
The hand-blown glass has these subtle swirls that catch the light, and the mountains etched into the base look almost real when the sun hits it. Poured a bourbon in it last night and it made the whole bar cart feel fancier than it actually is.
