I’ve washed these a few times now and they’ve only gotten softer, which is exactly what I hoped for from the cotton. The set of four feels substantial enough for everyday meals, but the woven pattern adds a nice handmade touch that dresses up the table.
The handwoven texture is what sold me—each napkin has that slight irregularity that makes it feel truly artisanal. I've washed mine three times already and the cotton just gets softer, which is exactly what the description promised.
These napkins have the most wonderful handwoven texture, and the cotton is substantial without being heavy. Washing them a few times has only made them softer, which makes me want to set the table even on a Tuesday night.
