I was worried the stripes would look busy but they're actually really subtle in person. They wash up soft after the first cycle and the weight feels substantial next to my everyday plates. Set of four is perfect for weeknight dinners.
The subtle stripe pattern looks great against my handmade ceramic plates without competing with them. Washed them twice already and the color hasn't faded a bit.
These have become my default napkins for weeknight dinners — the subtle stripe reads more like texture than pattern, so they don't fight with my plates. Washed them four times already and no fading or fraying at the edges.
