The linen has that slightly nubby, hand-woven texture that makes even paper plates feel like a dinner party. Little things, like how they soften after a few washes without pilling, make me glad I spent the extra money.
I've washed these napkins maybe a dozen times now and they keep getting softer while still holding their shape. The weight of the linen is substantial enough that they don't slide around on your lap like cheap ones do.
The linen has that heavy, slightly rough weave that gets softer every wash. I've used them for everything from taco night to a dinner party, and they still look better than the paper ones I used to buy. Sewing is neat and even, no loose threads anywhere.
