The hardcover feels substantial in hand, and the photo plates of Karnes' glazed forms are beautifully rendered. I've only gotten a few chapters in, but the writing gives a real sense of her creative process and evolution.
The book arrived in great condition, and flipping through the photos of her studio practice really brings her clay work to life. It’s a thorough look at her iconic forms, and I’ve already gone back to the glaze sections twice.
