The little tomato candle sits on my kitchen windowsill next to my real herbs and honestly makes me smile every time I pass by. Knowing it’s handmade by a sixth-generation Italian workshop makes it feel like a tiny piece of culinary history, even if I’m too smitten to ever light it.

I wasn't sure if I could actually bring myself to light them, but the little pepper one burned clean and even. The hand-painted details held up right to the end, which made it feel almost a shame to use. Made a fun centerpiece for our dinner party before we finally gave in.
