The ceramic has a nice weight to it that keeps my napkins from sliding around during dinner. Handmade details like the slight unevenness in the glaze make each one feel a little different, which I like.

These hold my cloth napkins so much neater than just folding them, and the weight feels substantial without being heavy on the table. I've used them for two dinner parties now and they've held up fine through a rinse.

The handmade ceramic has a slightly uneven glaze that catches the candlelight nicely at dinner. It holds a cloth napkin snug without squishing it, which my old metal rings always did. Simple thing, but it makes the whole table look put together.
