Srdcovky ve slaném nálevu

Wasn't sure what to expect from tinned cockles but these came out so tender, no chewiness at all. The brine is just salty enough to perk them up without overpowering, and I've already eaten half the tin straight from the container. Great on toast with a squeeze of lemon.

Picked these up on a whim and the brine keeps them genuinely tender, no rubbery chew at all. Tossed them straight into a pot of pasta with garlic and they held their shape beautifully.

These cockles are sweet and tender, nothing like the rubbery ones I've had from other jars. I dumped a tin over pasta with garlic and chili and it made a ten-minute dinner taste like a real treat. The brine is salty enough that I didn't need to add much else.
